NIATx's Impact

As we know, the Behavioral Healthcare field is in the midst of an unprecedented paradigm shift. Our organization was searching for an effective way to manage these changes. We needed a framework for systems and process improvement that was not complicated and was feasible to implement on a non-profit budget. The NIATx model has met and exceeded that need. NIATx provides us with a clear method for improving our services that have an impact on our customers and our bottom line.

Through the adoption of the NIATx way, our organization was able to examine our current wait time and develop more efficient intake procedures. These changes resulted in increase admissions and clients who were more engaged in the therapeutic process.

Our plan is to continue to utilize the NIATx model for on-going change projects as we diffuse the NIATx principles throughout our organization. I would encourage any program leader to explore adopting the NIATx model within their organization.
